Body Wisdom Pilates & Rehab – Statement on Covid-19

We at Body Wisdom Pilates & Rehab believe:
1. The SARS-CoV-2 virus, that causes Covid-19, continues to have large community transmission across the United States and here in our communities in Northeastern Oklahoma. There are new variants of concern showing up, causing new illnesses and re-infection.
2. There are still an average of 300+ deaths a DAY from Covid-19 in this country alone. That makes Covid-19 the 4TH leading cause of death in the United States!
3. The coronavirus in not done with us, even though most of us are done with it.
4. The need to stay mindful and respectful of this virus, as well as the need to think of its impact on others is not done.
5. Being health care providers, it is in our hearts and nature to think first of those around us, to protect our clients, patients, families and those most vulnerable amoung us.
6. We believe that vaccination for Covid-19, with all elible and recommended vaccinations for your age and immune status, is a critical action we can all take, to bring an end to this pandemic. It is the best tool we have RIGHT NOW to prevent severe illness/disease, hospitalization and death. We recognize that the vaccines are not perfect, but they are an incredible tool that we can use right now.
7. This is an ever-evolving situation. We are committed to being mindful, staying up to date with the latest information and listening to true experts to discern the state of this pandemic.

Covid-19 Disclosure and Protocol at Body Wisdom Pilates & Rehab:
- Maintaining your health and safety regarding Covid-19, is of utmost importance at Body Wisdom Pilates & Rehab. It would be welcome, but not required, if you would inform your instructor of your vaccination status. This is appreciated so that your instructor can maintain safety and precautions during your session.
- All instructors at Body Wisdom Pilates & Rehab, have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19, including all recommended boosters.
- If you or a loved one is older or at high risk, please inform your instructor. If you prefer, your instructor will wear a mask (well fitting N95 or KN95) securely over the nose and mouth during your session. You may choose to do the same.
- As always, the following practices are recommended for everyone:
- Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer before and after your private Pilates or group session.
- Practice Social distancing, remaining 6 feet distance away from others while in the Pilates studio.
- Stay home and inform your instructor, if you are ill or have any of the symtoms of Covid-19:
Fever
Dry Cough
Difficulty Breathing
Tiredness and loss of taste or smell
Aches and pains
Headache
Sore throat
Red or irritated eyes
Diarrhea
Skin rash or discoloration of fingers or toes
Flu-like symtoms
Allergy-like symptoms
Covid-19 Attestation (This is given to all new clients on their first visit)
By engaging in services at Body Wisdom Pilates & Rehab, I attest that:
I have respectfully disclosed my vaccination status to my instructor (optional, but appreciated).
I have not been in close contact, in the last 3 days, with anyone known to have a positive test result for Covid-19.
I am currently symtom free from any of the previously listed symtoms of Covid-19.
If I begin to feel ill or develop any symptoms of Covid-19, or develop a positive Covid-19 test, I will inform my instructor immediately and re-schedule my appointment. You will not be charged a late cancellation fee for any Covid-19 related cancellations.
I will follow the latest recommendations for quarantine or isolation, and return to Body Wisdom Pilates & Rehab when I am symtom free and have tested negative for Covid-19.
